Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Pelvic health is integral to overall well-being, and our specialized practitioners offer compassionate care for pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other pelvic floor disorders. Through personalized treatment plans, we aim to empower individuals to regain confidence and quality of life.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapy services focus on restoring movement and function, alleviating pain, and improving overall physical well-being.
Our experienced physiotherapists utilize evidence-based techniques to address a variety of musculoskeletal issues, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and more.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a holistic approach to health and wellness that involves the manipulation of soft tissues in the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue. Massage therapists work to alleviate muscle tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation through various techniques, such as kneading and applying pressure.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a time-honored healing art that stimulates the body's natural healing processes by targeting specific points along energy pathways. Our licensed acupuncturists use gentle, precise techniques to alleviate pain, reduce stress, improve circulation, and restore balance to the body and mind.

Originally from Alberta, Alyssa moved to Newfoundland in 2017. She spent three years studying neuroscience at Memorial University before deciding to pursue a more hands-on path in wellness. Alyssa went on to train in massage therapy at Academy Canada, where she gained experience treating clients in the student clinic and a variety of outreach settings—including sporting events, assisted living facilities, the Waterford Psychiatric Hospital, Tuckamore Youth Treatment Centre, and other community locations. She also completed specialized training in prenatal and infant massage.

Alyssa’s approach blends traditional therapeutic massage techniques with deep pressure, breathwork, and guided visualization to support the mind-body connection and promote healing on multiple levels. She is certified in cupping massage therapy and provides grounded, compassionate care that helps clients reconnect with their bodies, release tension, and experience greater ease.

With a lifelong interest in holistic health, Alyssa is especially passionate about women’s wellness and empowerment. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time in nature—exploring Newfoundland’s many beautiful beaches—practicing yoga and mindful movement, reading, listening to and playing music, and (admittedly) spending too much time and money at Chapters.
